It was Emily’s birthday. We picked my place for a little retro celebration. I promised to make her a birthday cake. It was very difficult. She did not like chocolate, matcha, fruit…… but pistachio pleased her. By chance, Coup Kitchen launched a cake baking class of pistachio opera cake. Let’s go for it. It will be nice. I could work less and was confident for the quality. At least, it won’t be trial and error per my normal style. Always tried something new. I picked up both Emily and Wing. Simple zucchini and salmon pasta with white wine was served. Then the moment of true! Pistachio! She was happy and thrilled! That’s good!
